ReplyDeleteWe joined a small group at our new church, you know how exciting this is for us as we have been waiting a long time to be a part of one, this past Sunday evening. Our church is 45 miles away so we were happy to know that they were going to do a group on Sunday evening because otherwise we wouldn't be able to get to one in time during the week. It was the last night of this groups study on the book "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn. It was also their last night together as a group since they were splitting to multiply. It was so neat to hear everyone's comments on their study and warming to see each one trying to help us understand what this study meant to them and make us feel a part of their group. At the close of the evening the "old group members" stood by the new group members and laid hands on them and prayed that they would bond and grow the way each of them had. WOW that really made us feel loved and accepted, and excited that others were wanting to grow and reach out to others. What a great example of Acts 2:42-47. We are so excited to see how God is going to use us in this new adventure with Him. Praying for you and Pamela as God uses you to minister in your new adventures also. Love Ya Brah!
